Short Stories Dog Training Classes – 2 week course – £40

Build practical, real-life skills that help you and your dog navigate everyday situations with ease.
Our Short Stories course is a structured, engaging programme designed to support dogs beyond the training environment. Over two sessions, we focus on clear, hands-on training, then apply those skills through carefully designed, real-world scenarios that reflect everyday experiences such as visiting cafés, relaxing in pubs, walking in the park and exploring shops.
A good imagination and sense of humour are very welcome!
Over 2 consecutive weeks, you and your dog will
- Learn key skills for a successful outing
- Put those skills into practice in a realistic, simulated setting
Classes will be kept small, with a maximum of 3 dogs, to ensure plenty of individual support.

- Focus on comfort around people and food, calm settling, and impulse control, including a trip to the bar and safe return to the table with drinks.
FULLY BOOKED – 29th May and 5th June 2026 – ‘Today I took my dog to the café…’
- Focus on comfort around people and other dogs, calm settling, and polite behaviour around food, helping your dog behave appropriately in a café-style environment.
10th and 17th July 2026 – ‘Today I took my dog to the park…’
- Focus on engagement around distractions, reliable recall, and relaxed lead walking, helping your dog stay connected and responsive during park walks, including leaving picnics undisturbed.
24th and 31st July 2026 – ‘Today I took my dog to the shops…’
- Focus on comfort around people and busy environments, relaxed lead walking through turns and tight spaces, and polite behaviour, explored through realistic shopping scenarios including queues and shopping bags.
